In the early years of building and maintaining websites for clients, cpmd was very aware of the limitations for meeting their needs according to their schedule, as well as having to charge them for even the smallest changes.
In an effort to meet their client's needs, cpmd encouraged clients to use their CMS, which was built into each site individually. This CMS would allow customers to make their own changes, be independent, save time and money, and allow them to maximise their site.
After realising that much of the CMS programming between sites could be automated, Deb Andrews, the founder of the company, designed the basic iEdit package, which can be plugged into almost any existing site, or used to build a site from scratch. It has been honed after years of interacting with her clients, listening to their needs, and iEdit is the 7th completely new re-write/edition, and is available to the mass market so that anyone can access their own site and gain complete control within a matter of days.
Created in 2005, iEdit is spreading like wildfire, with a referral business that is beyond compare. "Once someone has iEdit, they become almost evangelistic about it!" says Deb. That's why we've decided to focus more on this side of the business; it just seems to offer small businesses an ideal solution - the perfect balance between having your own control with the inherent efficiency and autonomy therein, and the personal service they need as a safety-net.

Deb is the driving force behind cpmd, having started it seven years ago. With over 25 years in business in the UK, Europe and the BVI, she has a range of skills and experience to draw upon with her clients, all of whom look to cpmd to provide their business and marketing solutions.
Deb's main focus is to provide her clients with a 'business solution', not just a website… one that meets their needs and expectations - whether to drive their business, or simply supplement it. Her focus always: what do you want your site to do? Her primary focus is on long-term relationships and internet marketing - "I don't just do your site and then walk away," she says.
Breaking New Ground
Long before the world wide web recognised a product that would ultimately put webmasters out of pocket, Deb was encouraging the use of her Content Management System. She realised it was the only way to give her clients the freedom and control they wanted, saving them time and money. And such foresight lead to the development of the ultimate small business solution, iEdit.
Over 25 years in business in the UK, the BVI and Europe has given Deb a range of experience to draw on when working the diversity of clients whom look to cpmd to provide their business and marketing solutions.
Although based in the BVI currently, Deb and her husband are moving to Dominica, and they will open the fourth office in the beautiful island known as "The Nature Isle".
Additionally cpmd will begin to expand on its new UK-based subsidiary in England.
NINA TURPIN | Partner
Whilst Deb was realising that the biggest limiting factor for the growth of her own business was the lack of a partner and had been actively looking for one for two years, Nina was busy writing books, newsletters and technical articles in both the UK and US for a number of different companies.
Prior to her Masters in Sports Science in Alabama, Nina gained a Bachelors in Psychology and spent two years at the Chichester College of Technology in the UK reading Business Studies.
After nearly 15 years of copywriting, marketing and advertising experience and the sale of her own very successful company in the UK, Nina was looking for something new to get her marketing teeth into.
During those years, she was commissioned to write a series of 7 health books for a large US Nutrition Company based in Florida, and so successful was she that Nina then went on to become their lead sales copywriter.
And it was this experience and knowledge that she took to the UK and put to good use when she started up her own direct marketing company for the sale of nutritional supplements. After 4 years Nina and her partner decided to sell the business and look for something different.
Nina has long had a deep interest in the small business process. And was looking for a way to offer simple, affordable solutions for many of the technology and training gaps which can holdback a small business. It would be a matter of great personal pride if she could deliver a solution and sit back in a support role while that business suddenly become streamlined and therefore more profitable.
Having run her own small business she fully understands where the stresses and strains are and how easy it is to lose opportunities and worse money, due to lack of organisation and old habits. When Nina walked into Deb's office one day they began to talk, and when all the pieces suddenly came together near the bottom of the second bottle of wine, a partnership was born!
JUSTIN MOUL BA (hons), LRPS | Creative Project Manager
Born in Hong Kong, and widely traveled, Justin received his degree in Fine Art and Contemporary Critical Theory from Goldsmiths College, The University of London. It is here that he developed his skills in visual communication and conceptual analysis, which he now applies to the development of web based business solutions at cpmd.
Highly motivated, and with several years experience in running his own business in the UK, he revels in finding simple solutions to the complex challenges that Caribbean business’s face.
Justin is passionate about the visual arts, ecology and digital technology. The combination of these, and his love of the great outdoors mean that when he’s not working, he can usually be found somewhere off the beaten track, clutching a digital camera.
STAN SEXTON | Technical Director B. Comm., PMP, MCSE, MCDBA, MCP, MCP+I
A seasoned project and program professional and manager having worked all over the world from Canada to the far East, Stan has a firm understanding in Program and Project Management, Business Analyst, Database Analyst, Warehousing, Supply Chain and ERP. He has over ten years experience implementing accounting systems and over six years of project managing implementations.
With a wide range of business skills from the boardroom to the coding window, Stan has superior experience in ERP/SCM and CRM. As one of the founding shareholders of White Iron Inc. and an owner and director of a successful Canadian property company, Stan know what it takes to start and succeed in new business.

Pascual is an extremely talented designer from South America with a European education. His designs are found on many of our websites and printwork.
WANDA BROWN | Project Manager
Wanda has been with cpmd for four years. She brings twenty years experience in the tech industry that was built upon a foundation of library research training. She has worked with such companies as; Intel, FMC, GT Development, Sun Microsystems, Quinton Instruments and Failure Analysis Associates. While at Sun Microsystems she took on challenging assignments. These include a cross-functional, multi-vendor process reengineering project which required leading multiple teams comprised of Sun employees from many levels of the organization, working on the initial establishment of a Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery team, and the building of a global Human Resources Information Systems support team.
Certified as both Process Improvement and Process Reengineering facilitator and with additional training in Project Management, Presenting Globally, Effective Presentations, Leadership and Team Building, Decision-Making & Problem-Solving and more.
